Every personal site needs a first post, so here's mine.
Why this site?
I've been meaning to put a proper home on the internet for a while. The photographs were scattered across Instagram. The writing was in private notebooks. The engineering work lived in GitHub repos with no connecting thread.
This is the connecting thread.
What to expect
I'll write about two things that take up most of my waking attention:
Photography. Specifically street and portrait work in Kathmandu and wherever else I end up. I'll share frames I'm happy with, frames I'm not sure about, and occasionally the thinking behind both.
Software engineering. Systems, tools, and the craft of writing code that works reliably. Probably some Go. Definitely some opinions.
